i picked up a 1970 350 V8 has been bored out to 30 over and has had a huge cam dropped in it. i have been having troubles with starting. the carb is a 4 barrel and is a manuel choke which did help with start ups. the starter has trouble turning the motor over and firing. does anyone have a clue my friend says that cam is big that the stater is struggling with start up an that i need to put in a regulator of some kind ( msds) that on starts would change the firing of the spark plugs just on start ups, to help with starting. is this the right way or is their other ways i should go about thanks
