On my '70 GS 350, I swapped out my rear axle for a 12-bolt from a '69 chevelle. I swapped the front drum setup for a complete disc setup from a '72 lemans. I am using aluminum rear drums. From what I can tell BOP uses 7/8" wheel cylinders while the chevelle uses 15/16". Should I use 7/8" rear wheel cylinders which are compatible with the proportioning valve or go for more stopping power with the 15/16"?
I put a set of 15/16" on mine and like the difference they made, not much but some. Easy bolt in upgrade. No regrets here. Mike D.
