I have a 69 Wildcat that Im in final on body and paint. Can anyone help me with 1)where I can get a gas tank (will a cutlass or any other Buick fit?) 2)My stainless around windows is decent, but had to do extenisve rebuild on the window channels. I lost many of the metal posts for the clips to connect. Is this the only option to secure the staiinless around the window? 3) Where can I find a body mount kit for the entire car? Really appreciate any help. Will post some pictures soon.
Andy, not sure what tank fits, hopefully someone here will know what fits? You can get replacement posts for the clips that screw in from an auto paint supply store. The body mounts should be common to most GM's and easy to find? Gord
I found a site that has body mounts for your Wildcat, unfortunately they aren't cheap. This was the one website that had mounts for my '67 Wildcat, but I opted to make my own because I didn't want to spend that amount of money on them. http://www.classicbuicks.com/Body_Mount.html
