I like this one for an avatar you can right click to save , save as avatar . Then go into your user cp find manage avatar . then pull up a pic you like anything you want if its small enough ( if not send it to me and I can resize it ) but since you are the king of 72 Stage 1 cars I thought you might like this one John
I think I looked at that car a few years ago- Was it for sale around Sac or San Fran? Nice, older gentleman owned it whose name escapes me. Car was a NICE, original car. Just needed light work to get it clean. Good score and a VERY GOOD price. Mike- you should get some pics and post them and list the price (IMHO, it is cheap). 69 folks- a Stage with a FACTORY PAINTED TOP??? Pretty rare :eek2:
1969 Stage 1 HT two Tone Blue The 1969 Stage 1 is an original two tone blue Flint car (painted top) with cruise control, power antenna, full way adjustable seats, 8 track, A\T, ice cold A\C, 3:42 gears, 15" wheels, drive train is correct, all docs, POP, bill of sale, warranty card, brochures, remote driver mirror, rear seat reading lights, rebuilt correct Stage 1 400, and trans with no miles on the rebuilt. The car is is a real looker, and the only one we have found on the GS registry with all of it's factory options and this color combo. I guess you could say it is pretty hard to find. The car was ordered by the original owner in Janaury of 69 from Bulovard Buick in Long Beach California. It spent most of it's life in Riverside Ca. and it is a true California Black Plate car - the plates are still on the car! We are the second owners, and after a 2 year restoration by PDX Mike the car really came out in beautiful shape. The PDXMiKE 69 GS Stage 1 That car has a brand new paint job and is beautiful. It has tilt , air and beautiful blue buckets with console. Its a real Stage 1 too. If he is selling it I would jump on that now. If I had the bucks or the room I would buy that car in a heartbeat. GSX Eric / :3gears:
