    Wow, that is rough. Curious about the fender gills. Don't think they are GS fenders, must have been replaced. Oh what a little money and time could do. Too rare to part out.

    Here's his justification for the "real deal Stage 1" claim;
    "From what I have been told by many Buick buffs, the only GS verts built in the MI plant were the 212 stage cars. This car codes out to be a Mich. built GS convertible so it would stand to reason that it was a stage car. Since the motor & trans are missing. Someone could turn it into a stage car with the right drivetrain & per the numbers, no one could say that it was not a real stage car. JD"
