THE REAL DEAL! maybe. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...ryZ39405QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Wow, that is rough. Curious about the fender gills. Don't think they are GS fenders, must have been replaced. Oh what a little money and time could do. Too rare to part out.
The Ebay ad is very misleading. He seems to indicate it's a Stage 1. Here's some good reading- http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=141069&highlight=69+stage
Here's his justification for the "real deal Stage 1" claim; "From what I have been told by many Buick buffs, the only GS verts built in the MI plant were the 212 stage cars. This car codes out to be a Mich. built GS convertible so it would stand to reason that it was a stage car. Since the motor & trans are missing. Someone could turn it into a stage car with the right drivetrain & per the numbers, no one could say that it was not a real stage car. JD"
