i have 4 15x7 buick rallys on my 69 skylark and i was wanting to run larger tires on the rear what would be a good front/rear tire combo?

A P245/60/R15 is probably the largest tire you could use without modifying the wheel wells. I have seen 275/60/15 on a 69 but the wheel well mouldings and quarters were cut to the screws.

I had 275/60/15's on stock rallye's on the rear of my 68GS without modification to the quarters.

275/60/15's on stock 15x7 wheels inside stock wheelhouses. Its a tight fit but they DO fit......the chasis has to be sitting on the frame pretty close to square.

If you need rims, order a set of 15x8's with at least 4 7/8th's backspacing but no more than 5 1/8".

Make SURE to measure BOTH sides....I've measured cars where there was more than 1/2" difference side to side

275/60/15's out back, 245/60/15's up front

    measure both sides

I agree with Alan on checking both sides if your going to a larger 15 x8 rims. I just went through this deal on my 69. Do a search in the Bench section on "68/69 Guys". It's about the third one down in the search results called "68 /69 Guys.... What's the biggest tire & rim". Plenty of info there.
