when i bought my 69 lark the car had been sitting for years with a wrecked front end.the bumper was pushed way up but surprisingly the grill is all there.however the grill is deformed and cracked in a few places.i was wondering if anyone has tried heat lamps or a heat gun on one of these grills?
You can use a heat gun but be careful not to get the plastic too hot. Have something to clamp the part straight while it is still soft.
For cracks, go to Home Depot and in the plumbing section will be pvc/cpvc/abs cement. This will fix the cracks as well as fill in minor flaws.
