I found someone who says he has a pair of NOS disc brake rotors for my 1969 Riv. Hasn't sent me pictures or a part number yet, so I'm waiting. But he swears up and down that is what they are for.

Anybody got a part number? These things are rarer than hen's teeth, but I also don't want to end up with the wrong part.

If it's the right part number, I'm buying. (And I sure aint telling him the part number in advance.)

I think the right number can be found on your old disc brake rotors.

You should contact boardmember BaCo, he has 1969 Riviera disc brake rotors with the part number on them. (Not for sale, he's also having brake trouble)

    Got My Riv Rotors!

Searched for these durn rotors longer than Smartin searched for trunk trim.

Anyway, I finally decided to risk it and send some dude money even though he couldn't give me a picture or a part number. He just kept swearing that he had the right NOS rotors somewhere. I was sick of searching, so I gave it a shot. $160 including freight, hope for the best.

Heck, I figured that as long as I got two NOS rotors for some kinda car, I could at least sell them for something if they were wrong.

End result after two weeks of waiting: Two NOS rotors, just as described, complete with studs, perfect bearings, and a little surface rust that can be removed with emery cloth.:beer

I'm trying to get some more, if he has them.

That was 160.00 for the pair?? NOS?? Jeeeez! Buy every one he has. Last set I found the guy wanted 400 a piece! I was actually thinking about it. Im on my last cut of my rotors. Next brake job, Im going to have to replace them. But then again, my last brake job on that car lasted me 17 years:Brow:
