Now What?????? I could bid up the used one or wait to buy PackerBacker's? I can't handle the suspense. :jd:
WOW $521.00+ un friggin beliveable all I did was slightly sand the inner edge of a drivers side and it is almost a perfect fit on the right hand side and when i compare it to my ( now very expensive ) real right hand mirror only a very well trained eye could tell them apart. I have been modifying left hand mirrors to fit the right for 30 years and still would not have spent $520.00 + combined!!!!!! Just my .02 cents worth ken
$75 Makes me smile really BIG for my purchase of an NOS one last summer for my 69 Electra Convert for $75
Don't turn your back on the car Shirl .... $ 75.00 ! You Thief ! I thought i got a good deal on my NOS mirror 2 years ago .. ou: More than yours and less than Ebays . :Brow: :TU:
looking at the mirror you selected there is NO way to modify it for right hand use. The right hand mirrors I modify are the manual type left hand mirror similar to the kind that have been selling for a extreem amount on E Bay of late.. Ken K
Ken I now have 3 drivers ones. How are you going about sanding the one side down so it will fit on the pass. side?
It is not that hard I used a flat file i can take the one off one of my cars this weekend and take a pic for you thanks Ken
greed there is such a thing called greed - hopefully now that people are seeing what they can bring they will all come out of the woodwork and we will have a giant glut in the market and the price will come down - right! $610 the guy is greedy
Gentlemen Please refrain from any personal attacks on people who are selling items on eBay OR this site for that matter. The bidders set the price on eBay, and that's been discussed, at length, on this board over and over again. If someone wants to set a reserve, that's their business....let's just leave it at that... Thank you.
:Smarty: What Brett said... It's not uncommon for rare parts to be listed with very high reserves, in order to see what the market is for an item, rather than to actually sell it in that auction. Yeah, it might suck for the bidders that think they might have a shot at winning that hard-to-find part, but that's no excuse for some of the commentary. Sometimes the seller is one of "us"...
