I bought this '69 GS 400 last year in overall good shape. The body and paint were fine but it needed mechanical restoration. Carr's Corvettes and Customs in Plano Tx installed new suspension, steering, disc brake conversion and is just completing the engine compartment overhaul. This is a true GS 400 but it is not a Stage 1 car. The motor is actually an early 70's 455. I want to thank dl 7265 for graciously supplying some much needed parts. Here are a few before an after pics.

Making me drool...and wish i could do that to mine sometime soon. But will be a long way down the road.

Do those folks do any performance work on the BBB?

Thy rebuilt the oil pump and did some other minor work, I assume they would farm out the machine work but would do the assembly work. They are meticulous!
