The previous owner performed a mechanical and cosmetic restoration including a rebuild of the original 400ci 4bbl V8 big block engine and the Turbo 400 transmission. Unique among 1969 GM muscle cars is the factory Ram-Air Induction! From the factory these cars produced 340 horsepower @ 5,000 rpm with an amazing 440lbs of torque @ only 3,200 rpm! Boasting a 4.040 bore with a 3.900 Stroke and 10.25:1 Compression, power was tire smoking plentiful and still is! I have made some thoughtful improvements to the car which enhances the driving experience for anyone lucky enough to cruise in this classic. I upgraded to 15X8 Buick Mags (I still have the 14X6 wheels) and 245/60-15 BF Goodrich T/As to enhance the stance and handling. The exhaust system has been improved upon with 2 custom bent aluminized tubing and 40 series Flow Master Mufflers. This system is a clean install and a replica of the factory bends. The factory AM radio is still in the dash but there is a remote control Kenwood AM/FM Cd with IPod option neatly installed in the glove box. The brake and suspension systems are in excellent condition with replacement parts installed as need to provide that unique Muscle car feel when cruising.
