i have a 455 std cam and lifters that has less than a 1000 miles and all lifters are placement marked for a $100.timing set is available for $25 more
Reason for wanting a 69 cam In interchange manual, the 69 430 is the same grind as a 71-72 gs cam thus the want for the 69 cam is a better cam than stock 455 , have 4-5 standard now, doing a engine now and have open, so want to slide in while open, Any one with a Kennebelle, crane, or other moderate rap cam contact me too, thanks craig
Remember guys, there is an oiling difference between the 67-69 Big Blocks, and the 70-up. If he buys your 455 cam, he will have to buy lifters that correspond with his 430 application.
he would be allright to use "his" type of lifters with the 455 cam ,but if he uses '70 or later lifters he must change pushrods , rockers and shafts over to '70 and later
using a 73 455 using a 73 for a motor, will this work then with a 430 cam and 455 lifters? and 455 pushrods and rockers?
