69 Buick Riviera

    HI AGAIN

    like I said in my last post I am new here so I not to sure of all the rules but anyway I have a 1969 buick riviera that Im restoring the car well it is 3/4 restored but now I need to add more paint to it just to clean it up a bit
    anyway I have a web site that has all te pictures of it

    I started on mine this weekend. It has 69,000 original miles, I'm going to look at a parts car tomorrow for $300

    Cool looking Riv. I definatly feeling the silver paint, and the 455. I am planning on getting a pre-73 Riv in the next couple of years, as soon as I get the money, and I don't have to worry about what my mom thinks.

    On your website:
    I thought model year 1969 had the highest production total of all RWD Rivieras ever: 52,872 Rivs left the factory that model year :Smarty:

    Also:
    The original mill was a 430 for model year 1969.


    And all of a sudden it's a 454 in your little info sheet:

    But apart from that, your website looks cool :TU:

    YEA YOU ARE RIGHT WHEN I WAS WRITING THIS ON MY WEB SITE I WAS LOOKING AT A PIECE OF PAPER AND I QUESS I READ IT WRONG BUT THANKS FOR THE INFO I WILL FIX THAT UP WRITE AWAY
    DO YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THERE WERE 52,872 RIVIERA MADE IN 1969

    THE ENGINE IN MY CAR IS 1 454CI BIG BLOCK

    That's what I said.


    So, you used a Chebby 454 and still used the original BOP transmission, is there some kind of adaptor plate available ?

    Ok badboattail I have fixed the questbook in order to do that I had to delete your name but PLEASE resign the only reason I delete your name was beacuse the guestbook was in a different
    setting I have check with Buick and have verfied that they were 52,872 riviera's made in 69 so I have added that to my web site
    I was not trying to copy anything

    You should get your butt over to Stittsville,Ont. and check out "Rivman's" Riv that is one sweet ride and i'm willing to bet it'll light a fire under your a$$. Just to get yours done.

    Not that sure where stittsville Ont is but I will be willing to look
    how do I get ahold of Rivman maybe he can help me on a few problem that I having with my riviera does rivman hav a 69 riviera?

    is right here on v8buick.com (see previous post). Stittsville is about 15/20 minutes west of the the Capital of Canada - Ottawa.
