On July 20th, I sent payment on a torque converter to Adrian directly to his bank account. After not hearing receiving anything by August 16th, I texted and pmed him inquiring about the converter, and finally got a text back on August 27th. The text stated: Louie, Adrian from V8buick. My mom said she got your converter return to sender? Any idea whats going on? I responded saying: I have no idea. Maybe its overweight? I dont know. His response,: Well man I apologize for that I am sure you were wondering what was going on, I'm going to have her send it dfferent method with delivery confirmation. Will send tracking number tomorrow. I responded: Sounds good bro, thanks. Since then I have called twice, and sent a text on September 23rd with no response, and I never got a delivery confirmation. I am not trying to trash Adrian, I am sure there is a good explanation for all of this. It has been almost 3 months and I just want my converter. Adrian, where are you man?
I bought stuff from that same sale thread and even though shipping was slow I got my parts and they were as described.

I was gonna purchase his rivi, but never got a response after we kinda set a deal, I as gonna deposit some cash into his account but I didn't yet, and was interested in the Buick, seemed like a nice guy, not saying he is.t, but all I have is his cell #
I talked to him on the phone at some length about his Riv for sale, since it was so cheap. As stated, he was in DC and the car was in CA. It didn't have it's carb on it, so he had to get some help to get it running. The non-stock interior turned me off the car, but now I'm glad I didn't go any further.
