I was the fortunate one to get Fish's (Nitrousfish) blue skylark. My plans are very simple for this car- get it back together and rip up the streets while my '70 gets finished up. Progress on this will be real fast once I get done with finals next week. We already got a lot done.

    Here is the build:

Stock '69 430 out of a Riviera. 52,000 original miles. Freshened up- new timing chain, gaskets, oil pump, fuel pump, carb rebuild, etc... I'm debating on whether I will put the M/T repro headers on it- right now I'm leaning towards no... 2.5 in duals, most likely custom bent by a local shop-- I'm on a budget.

Stock 400 trans from the same Rivi.

2.56 8.2 posi we bought off a local guy- came out of a '68 skylark convert. My dad is sitting on a 3.73 12 bolt post that he wont give me, even though he gets the 15 inch rallys on the car now. :af:

The paint is a 10 footer job, some rust and bubbles but very solid and decent looking- perfect for the sleeper look. It will also have a radio delete plate and dog dishes to go along with the A/C.

Fish put together a mostly complete blue interior, but since the car is originally black interior and I have nice black seats I think it will end up being black.

Our main goal is to get it running so we don't have to push it out of the way every morning.

Today we got the new rear in and the A/C box in, but I forgot to take pics....

By this weekend it should at least have a complete drivetrain in it, not sure if it will be running...

Hi Jim! The 430 is in and runs stronnnngg. We took the front clip off to realign the sheet metal. The last pic is in its current state. We get back from vacation thursday and plan to take it to a show sunday (after the bumper and grille go back on of course) then all thats left is interior. I have the carpet and headliner ordered but the headliner is on backorder so that will be another 2 weeks.
