Hello, I've seen multiple posting on NOS antenna masts. I'm actually thinking of adapting something to the teardrop base. It's only a matter of time till it bends, so I'd prefer to save the cash and heartache of searching for originals. Are there any sort of adapters out there? I'm attaching photos: I'm not really sure what's up with the short mast that's currently installed: I was hoping to be able to somehow use it to attach a real mast. Thanks -Ted
