Couple of nice '68 Rivieras on evilBay, first one is an original GS ! They both have those fancy imitation leather naugahyde (vinyl) interiors. :TU: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...d=1,1&item=4645713532&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...d=1,1&item=4645701458&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT
What's it worth? I emailed the owner of the GS in Fort Worth, and here's his reply.... Everything is original. The car is owned by a Baptist Pastor and his wife in Texas. Garaged always. 100% running well. No accidents, no rust. The ac needs freon but is mechanically sound. The car was diven to VA with no trouble at all. They were meticulous on up keep. If I didn't just build: www.myspace.com/nicnitro click on pics (69 plymouth gtx) I'd buy it, but wife would kill me. I will be listing my 63 split window vette shortly as well on ebay. Gorgeous car...what's it worth? I can see myself driving this! Doesn't seem to need anything to be roadworthy. Any thoughts?
Thanks guys! Well, seeing as no one here would step to tell me what this thing is worth, I had to drive to Arlington TX and see for myself. This thing still has all 4 T3 headlights, and original leaky radiator cap. The AC blows cold. It's all original, down to the paint and nearly PERFECT interior. No pits in the chrome. No rust. No dents. No smoke. It looks like it rolled out of the dealership a year ago. And yes, it was owned by a preacher's wife. I dealt with her husband, the pastor himself......I bought it. YYYEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! :beer The only thing this needs is a correct radiator cap and a full tank of gas. Does anyone know where I can get the right cap for it? THANKS for posting this bad boy! Dan
'68 Riv GS Congrats DAN ! :TU: Looked like a good unmolested original car - with all the paperwork to boot. I figured it sold local, as the auction had ended early by the seller. Great to see it has found a good home ! :beer :beer :TU: Can't afford the gas - but the correct rad cap should be an easy find and may still be available from Mr. Goodwrench? 'Keep your GM original !' o No:
