I am having a heck of a time getting this booster off! I have removed the 4 nuts under the dash by the firewall and it is nice and loose from the engine side, the problem is getting the push rod clevis off of the brake pedal pin. The push rod is not flexible and won't slide off. I thought that maybe the brake pedal pin would slide out of the way but not so. The service manual is pretty straight forward...."Remove retainer and washer from brake pedal pin and disengage push rod clevis".
Anyone who has experienced this or has taken out a booster please HELP!
    Thanks!

I remember it being a pain. Took a lot off prying and manipulation to get everything apart. :af:

I tried to pull mine while the engine was out for a detail and gave up after an hour of struggling. Just taped everything off and painted it in place.

So I finally got the Booster out after banging on the rod for a bit. We will see how the new one goes on!
