Hey, I really need to replace the bushings on the upper control arms of my 68 Rivi. The driver side is really messed up, the bushing is really bad, it slid the metal fitting from the inside backwards so the front bolt doesn't reach the shaft anymore. I'll post pics as soon as I find the camera usb cable.

Where can I find the Upper control arm Shaft Kit? (with Bushings)
OPGI Has a kit but for Skylarks, I heard from v8tv (restoring a 68 rivi) That some parts interchange with the chevelle, Could I order a kit from a chevelle or any other car? GM made similar set ups right?

    Thanks Guys :TU:

Thanks, Here are the pictures, I thought I needed a new shaft but I guess I'll just buy the bushings. I looks pretty bad. The next step is to get a new center link, should I also buy the rest of the linkage?

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Your shock bushings should be replaced also.

I would strongly suggest....you do all bushings, balljoints, tie rods etc at one time...otherwise you will be doing a lot of work replacing one item at a time.
Also the center link is not available as new...just reman from Rare Parts in CA and those run $150-200. I think Autozone and NAPA get them from Rare Parts.

Yours are better than the ones that were on my Riv!
They at least have some rubber left in them!

Check www.espo.com. I suggest you avoid the PST stuff. A lot of their stuff looks like a tinker toy compared to say a Moog part.

There was a guy on ebay selling the centerlinks, but I don't know if he still has any left. Check www.napaonline.com too. They might have what you need. I would stay away from the poly bushings. My 67 Riviera is going back together with all rubber/metal suspension components like it came from the factory. Leave all that thunking and squeaking to the "camaro crowd".
