    Hey guys

i want to raise the rear of my 68 GS 350'
get a little oldschool hotrod look

im planing on runing 15x8 with 275 tires

further i lower the front with BMR coils 2"

in order to raise the rear and get the stance i like i am looking into
    Coils

    either
    MOOG Cargo Coils
    or
    Sportwagon Coils

    whats the big difference?
Are the Cargos or the wagon give a higher lift?

i will also run Airlift kit 1000 to stabilize the back a bit

I noticed a bunch of threads already but i never found a exact Item # regarding the MOOG coil options
so i thought i post that here to get your opinion.

I would just use the Airlift bags in the rear at first. Shouldn't be hard to raise it two inches with them. That is what I did on my 68. I was worried that they might leak down but mine have been on for about a year now and I have not had to add any air yet.

cool i thought they will not lift as much and rather secure the ride height
But yea.. thats a good idea.

do you have pics of your setup?

I don't have any good pictures from exactly the same angle showing the difference but here is a picture of how low it was when I bought it and a picture of how it looks now. I did swap the 14x6 wheels for some 15x7's so that makes a difference, too.

The front is stock, I haven't done anything to it. Also, it you look behind your license tag, you should find two holes already in your bumper that are perfect for the two air valves for the air bags. My bumper had them and they looked to be factory-made holes.

Since you said you were going to get the air bags anyway, I thought you should try it without buying the new springs. And if you like it, you saved the cost of new rear springs. And if you don't, you can always get the springs later.
