I need a dash pot for my 68 GS with air. It was a late build so ideally a bracket off intake casting 1386682 would be ideal. I am sure these are the same as used in 1969. It would fit any big block motor, 400 or 430, in fact I would bet it is the same as a 70 as well. All those vehicles had 750 carbs and no throttle solenoids.
I think I have a 69 and a 70.70 is a little different,the edges are round,68-69 are straight ,usage is the same.BrunoD.
Bruno, Sorry, I have been experimenting with different carbs but I keep coming back to the QJ. I am interested in the dash pot bracket, how much are you looking to get for it? I have the dash pot but the bracket has been lost in hte shuffle, long story. Can you send me a pic? I am going to see if my 68 parts book has a good picture of it. By the way hitting 9's in a Buick has to be a real rush!!!!!
Yes,we just came back from Cecil,and the car went in this order: 9.17-9.16- 9.15.It just kept getting faster.Anyway,if you have a picture of the one you need,it would be a big help,as I am not too good with computers.Bruno.
