Not to dispute the teacher, but I have noticed some differences between my '69 and a replacement '68 core support. The bottom radiator cross/support area on the '69 bolted together and the '68 was tack welded together. There are other tack welds and bolts on the '68 in other areas. My '69 only has a couple of tack welds. When I bought it (the '68 CS) I was thinking I could simply take the pieces from the '68 and bolt them to the '69, but the tack welds make this a bit more difficult. Im no teacher but I have several 68-9 supports here as my guinny? (sp) pigs for the support panels and they all seem to be exactly the same.
