CORRECTION VIN Indicates 33 = Deluxe L6 (1968-69). Not a GS. Maybe good as a parts car. I believe it is also a post car. No picture available, non-original motor. I will be in this area this week 10/23, 10/24 if some one is seriously interested...I can look at the car and take pictures. Just so's ya know... The GS California shares the VIN with the Special Deluxe because it is built on the Special Deluxe chassis. So, in '68 and '69 for sure the VIN will start with 43327x with x either 8 or 9. Why do some poeple think the California isn't a "true" GS? It came with the GS driveline didn't it? It's also lighter than the GS hardtop which should be desirable to those wanting to go fast. The 2 dr post chassis is also stiffer, less flex off the line, means quicker times right? I live about 15 miles from this car, and have seen it. It has a olds engine in it now. The interior is trash. I didnt look at it long. The body didnt look too bad, but like I said, I didnt look at it too long. If anyone wants me to look at it a little closer, I can. Its in the town I grew up in. I didnt find out what he wanted for it, I looked at it a couple of months ago.

I can see if I can make it over there in the next couple. I can tell you that it is black, and use to be yellow. It has a 69 grille and surround, that are junk. It does if I remember right, still have the 68 gs hood. I dont think the front seats were right for the car. I dont know what he wants for it, but I dont think I would give too much.
