HI i have a 68 gs 400 convertible i try to sell from time to time. the body is rough the inside needs work also it has a rebuilt 73 455 400 tranny 3:08 possi disc brakes power top (works) its a air car but air is long gone the car runs and drives asking 6500.00 O.B.O for the car.i have a 68 4dr skylark that will be for sale when gs is gone i also have lots of parts. email for info. i can send pics.
6500 for a GS 400 convert. a/c car with no a/c and wrong motor. At least do you have the 400 motor to go with thte car?
HI no i dont have the 400 engine but the top was replaced in 2000 it has disc brakes 308 possi rebuilt 455 400 tranny very solid frame runs and drives plus ive parted 2 68'69 skylarks and have 2 to part and a 68 4dr i might reduce but i had to start some where and iam not giveing it away parts are extra.thanks for the question gransportw
HI i think they are getting bad at the bottom by the door i have one left side that is just got suface rust in spots ill sell i have a right side but its had body work done in the middle i think the bottom is in good shape ill sell them when the car sells thanks gransport@yahoo.com

Your first post states 'the body is rough'... OK.... Description.. How are the fenders? Inner fenders? Core support? Base of the windshield? Floors? Doors? Quarters? Outer quarter wheelhouses? Trunk? Frame? Grille and surround? Bumpers? Buckets/console? Color combination (firewall tag)? Those are the BIG things with these cars. If you would like, send me the pics and I could happily post them for you.
HI everthing needs attention it has buckets that need recovered no counsel frame from where i can see is good shape motor runs great tranny is good it runs and drives every body panel needs repaired or replaced i have some parts nothing new but parts anyways thanks for looking gransportw
You need some pictures of the interior and what condition is the floorboard in, how's the trunk ? Picture of the base of the windshield especially.How's the grille? Pics of all these areas will help your cause. Its a very bad time to try and sell anything ask me how I know. I'd be wiiling to buy it but I warn you with that much rust and it doesn't have the original engine my offer will be very low and conditional on pics of mentioned area but its an option if you choose.
HI the floors need replaced as the trunk as for the front windsheild pilars they look good if iam looking in the right spot the grill is cracked but in place. i guess the best part of this car is rebuilt 455 400 tranny 308 possi disc brakes it is a convertible that works it is a true gs is very driveable. ive got a storage spot for it now . i have it valued for 9000.00 through state farm ins. i know times are hard for everyone but iam not giveing it away. sorry about the wrong email its gransportw@yahoo.com thanks for looking willie
I completely understand hopefully you won't be one of those guys that let a car completely rust down because your ego gets in the way of making a sale. If you don't fix that car soon it won't be much left to work with my .02 cents.
