Nobody has fessed up yet. The high bid was around $19 k and reserve was not met. I wondered too if some private deal was in the works.
Well, I had a lot of interest and then a deposit and agreement on the car but looks like the buyer is now having some issues closing the deal and frankly I do not have the patience so I refunded his deposit today and will move on. That said I will sell it for it for 21K outright which I think is fair for how original and rare this car is, if interested send me a PM. Ed
