68 Abody AM/FM

For sale is a 68 only am/fm. This will fit 68-72 Abody cars, but is correct for the 68. I tested this 25 years ago and it was fine. Been sitting on a shelf since then. Price is $225 shipped lower 48. Part is located in NY.

 

Not in line, but curious what makes them different from '69?

 

The plate that has the station numbers is silver on a 68. In 69 they changed it to black. In 70 both the plate and the surround around it went to all black.

 

.....and in 70 the "Buick" letters were not put on the buttons. That's a rare animal Fred.

Thx guys - I knew the '70 differences & that '68-9 had the letters but never knew (or forgot) there was a diff. bet. '68 & '69.
