I have found a nice 3.36 R&P out of a 68 8.2 (BOP) and would like to use it in my 66 GS, presently a 3.90. Will this switch work. I read in a previous thread that 64-67 were different than the latter ones.
3.36 was a common ratio 8.2 BOP gear & was avail in some non a/c '68 & 69 Pontiacs. It will work fine with a low ratio carrier in your '64-67 Buick 8.2. The '68-70 BUICK 8.2 gears are the ones that are different. :3gears: Roger
