Does anyone have a photo of a 68 or 69 GS/Skylark with 295-50's on the rear, I've measured my car several time and believe they will be a good fit with the proper backspacing (5.625"-5.75"), would like to see a set installed.

    I don't have photos
But I had 295/50R15 on 8 inch rims in my '68 Skylark a while back
    No problems.
325 tires will rub a little :Brow:

Thought I'd bring this to the top again, still would be interested in anyone who has this size tire and knows what backspacing is used and if any trimming was required, (pic's would be great). I'm leaning toward 5.75" backspacing which would allow me to space it back out slightly if I wanted more interior clearance. I also think this wheel would allow me to go to the corporate 8.5 rearend later as I understand they're about an inch wider.
