HI well i decided to keep my gs so now i need to see what i can get and what i cant. sometime in the future iam going to be looking for a 68 or 69 gs or skylark convertible would really like a 68 but cant be very picky.prefer mostly rust free as iam not a body man ive got whole running gear just need the body not in any hurry because (lack of funds) but i would like to know about what to save and how far i need to go to get it so if you have one or know where i can get one (PLEASE LET ME KNOW) ive got a 68 4dr and 69 2dr for swapping just in case. thanks gransportw p.s i live in michigan
I'm out of Michigan myself and am in central Indiana now - I've got a 69 GS 400 convt that I'm going to sell. Needs the frame swapped out due to a front end collision. The inner and outer fenders I have for it are both NOS asking 5k for the car - it was originally out of San Antonio, TX.
HI thanks for repling as i mentioned in my thread iam just checking if there is any out there still. all i need is a good body to start with. the bottom of my car is in great shape as in engine /tranny /rearend /frame if i could find a 68 convertible in good to great shape that would be great.iam not a body man so i need to get as close to done as possible. thanks for the help i gave up my judge lookalike to keep this car i hope i did the right thing parts are getting very hard to find in michigan. thanks gransportw
