Does anyone on the board know where I can find the quadrajet primary jets and rods sizes that are correct for 68 and 69 430 V8s? I have a carb that could be from one of those years and I want to see if it's original inside.

    Carl,
To be sure, we need the carb #. Here's some info though. 7028240 is a 68 430 carb with 70 jets and 43 rods and BG sec rods. 7029240 is a 69 430 carb with 70 jets and 45 rods, and AY secondary rods. In 69 there is a seperate Riv carb, my Guide to Buick GS doesn't show the last digit on the carb # (printing error), but it has identical jetting. Hope that helps.

Larry, many thanks. The number that should be either an 8 or 9 on the carb is so faint that I cant make it out. Now I can just look and see what rods are in it.
