    Pat

My spouse may sell it upon my passing. That car has real leather interior custom made into the stock 70 GS seat cover pattern. It is the only one I have ever seen.

    chryco63 14's or bust!

Just curious... did all '67 Wildcat 430s have chrome valve covers and KB stickers, or are those just dealer add-ons? Very neat car, good luck with the sale!

Nope, that would have been a dealer add-on, but it looks really sharp. I do notice no power brakes. That car is going to make someone really happy!

Those are the only early KB covers I have seen with the decals still in tact. These almost never come up for sale.

Nice car! It has the base interior with manual brakes, but at least A/C, tilt, power windows. Back in the day cars could be optioned many ways and this is a good example. Around my part of the world nobody pays much for cats-hope you do well-

Dan you need to review this board policy.

    "Effective immediately.

Due to the high number of complaints I have recieved from users posting for sale ads, only to have the post overtaken by a flame war about prices, vehicle conditions, values, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire ect.. commentary will no longer be allowed in someone's ad. If you want to comment on something, make your own new post about it, in the Bench, or other appropriate forum. Reasonable requests for more pictures, info, or other sale related communication is still allowed.

The moderators have been instructed to immediately delete any post that even hints of anything other than straightforward buying/selling discussion.

Offenders of this new policy risk disciplinary action.

Let's just buy and sell some parts folks, and keep the commetary to ourselves, or in other appropriate forums. It's, at the very least, rude to break up someone's for sale ad with your personal views on prevailing pricing trends, or other non-sale related information.

All ads must have a price and the location that the item is at. Ads not containing this information will be removed immediately.

    Thanks

    JW"

But now that you raise this issue let's talk about why. These cars are orphaned with respect to parts support especially body panels. Most have body issues expensive to address. So the lack of parts, body repair needs and resulting paint expense issues must be factored in to a purchase price. On the other hand when you find a car like I have for sale regarding which you have no real body issues and the paint just needs compound and wax to go you actually save money. You spend realtively little more for the purchase of a Wildcat find like this in order to save a ton of overall money relative to 99% of the other cars offerred for sale which have issues. All experienced in buying these old cars know this to be true as so many of us have learned this the hard way.

Jim, yes-spankmefanny and flogmadong-it looks like that comment of mine was outside of the rule...but you wanna continue discussion? I'm sure you have a nice cat there. I think you may want to add more and real clear pics to show the condition, and I agree with about all you have to say about these cars-I have a couple rustfree Calif cats myself. I wish you well with the sale and I won't be surprised if the new owner is a Dieter/Bjorn as another one goes way east of here-good luck!

    Dan,

I can assure you and everyone else that the condition of this car is exceptional.. stored insided in Climate control for over 30 years, and it shows that it was. From the small chrome on the interior, to the frame, it has been spared the effects of time and the elements.

No dissapointments with this one. I started it up personally while I was down there, runs really nice.. no noise at all, all we did was change the oil, prelubed the motor, and provided a fresh fuel source for it. Popped right off.

Unlikely that there is more than a handfull of 67 cats in the country, in this type of exceptional original condition.
