67 Star Wars air cleaner nut

Hi All...can anyone tell me if the star wars air cleaner nut is reproduced? where to get it? how much to expect to spend?
if not, can someone send me a few pics with some measurements?

Nobody makes an exact repro. There was somebody who made something close. There was also somebody here who was considering making them. If you can find one, I would expect to pay at least 40.00 -50.00 for a fair one. Maybe 75. for a decent one, and who knows for a really nice one. People don't want to break up their set, and there are maybe 3 times as many air cleaners as nuts.

 

Thanks for the input I knew it would be tough to find. (Just to clarify I'm looking for the knob that screws it down like in the photo)

 

What frank said X2. The nut you pictured is what he is referring to.

 

I just paid 200 for one with a really nice original finish. I know it is a lot of $$$, but after 2 years of searching and in terms of the condition of the couple I have seen, it is what I expected to pay for one this nice. Who knows when/if another like this will come along?

About a year ago, I saw one with a fair amount of pitting go for 90.

I have seen the price of Star Wars air cleaners double in the last couple years............

One more thing Ryan. Keep in mind that the part you are looking for is not only for a 67 GS400, but also a 67 Riveria GS. It might help to broaden your search net.

 

A board member from Canada was slowly working through the process of reproduction. I saved the link to thread but after the board upgrade it doesn't work nor can I search for it and find it. Maybe someone can figure out how to locate it.

Thanks guys! Brian I tried that link and maybe its my computer but it says I have to enable cookies for it to load.
