'67 ST300 tranny Dipstick

The handle on my '67 ST300 tranny dip stick broke the other day, so I'm looking for a good one.

I have a dipstick and tube from a 65 st300. Will that work??

 

I think so. I don't see why they should be different. Does the tube come out so that the end you see in the engine compartment is near the pass exhaust manifold and not behind the head like the TH350's do?

I think it does. I've had it out for a while and replaced trans with turbo 400. If you want it I'll take 10.00 for it . That should cover the shipping.

 

I may have found one here locally but if that doesn't work out I WILL buy yours.
