Good idea. Boy, one of those TA Tomahawk blocks sure would look good in there!! (There I go dreaming again....ou: )
Sounds like a scammer. Who puts that much time and money into a car and then sells it for $10,500 OBO? Nice car though (without the chevy lump)
The car looks pretty nice from those 2 pix, seems like a great deal at $10,500 if it was all done right. Not too crazy about the 2-tone. It would be better with a Buick powerplant!
It does look like a really nice car. Man you guys are crazy about putting a chevy in a buick.. I was thinking about putting a LS3 into the Skylark I might be getting, I might need to rethink that idea.. It is too early to bring it up know, but whats wrong with putting a chevy engine in a Buick?. Do not want to change the post,ou:, I will repost my question in the correct part of the forum.. The does look like a nice 67 Lark.. I like the two tone paint..
The ad is gone now and was probably a scam, as it sure looks like this car that sold at Mecum for $38k last year. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=SC0510-91177
Putting a chevy engine in a Buick decreases horsepower, torque (which wins races) and value, and costs way more than keeping it all Buick...pretty much a no-brainer. But, if folks insist, go ahead, but we want to know HONESTLY what the actual conversion cost, parts AND labor.
