Have a question about swapping from points to HEI and the harness. Does anyone know if there is a company that makes an engine harness for this swap that still initializes the factory plug on the wall, so stock looking? Oh yeah, this would be for a, um, a............. Chevy small block (don't yell at me).:TU: For those of you looking for parts, I'll have two doors (hartop) as well as DS fender, rear seat, deck lid, rear bumber as well as the 300 and the transmission, told it was a switch pitch?, not sure if that's the case tho, not knowledgeable about buicks. thanks Puget Sound, Wa Dave
I purchased a stock GS400 harness for mine, and then located the correct pin at the firewall plug and simply took it out and put a pink wire from it to the HEI. The resistor wire is only in the harness not behind the firewall. Looks normal/all right to me? :Smarty: Mike
