Just got my seats back from the upholstry shop and i tried to put back the seat backs and i cannot get the seat back buttons to line up correctly so i can bolt them in and i cannot push the seat back forward more to line it up,when i dropped off the seats i didnt have the seat backs on,is it possible he might`ve removed the push button mechanism on the seat frame itself and didnt put it back the correct way or put it in backwords??has anyone ever dealt with an issue like this?o No: Thanks
George, I wish I could answer your question, but if I were you I would take the seat back to the shop and let them put one of the backs on for you. If they did it right it should take them less than a minute :TU: Good Luck, jerseysky66
I know just what you mean, I had that same problem with my seats. I think maybe it's because the new material around the seat back hasn't ''squished'' down yet. Those screws can be really tricky to get started back in the holes. I had to point mine in at an angle in order to get them started.
Just dropped them off back at the upholstry shop with the seat backs,let him fool with them cause its gonna get on my nerves i`m gonna break something. Thanks
