    Hi
Can someone help me, how do I remove the dash out of my Riviera?
Not the dash pad but the dash with the heater vents.
I've got issues with rust caused by a leaking front windscreen.
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

On my model year 1968 Riviera I first had to remove the dash pad to get to the actual dashboard area.

Just to make sure: This is the area that you want to remove?

If its a rust issue your trying to fix in the metal part of the dash you will most likely have to disassemble the entire dashboard and remove the windshield. The Dash structure was welded into the car during assembly and then everything in and on it were added. Get a Chassis manual. It will give you step by step how to take it all apart. If its anything like the 68 be ready for a big project.
