I found a company called showcars-bodyparts which have their own repro quarter panels for 1967 Skylark (it is listed under special). Does anybody know if these are any good? o No: I am also desperately seeking a new top plate for my 67 skylark convertible. I think it has been sitting some place earlier with a rotten convertible top, because the dash top is rusted out, so I need a new one. (do these interchange with the ones for Chevelle?) Does anybody know how many 67 Skylark convertibles with 300cid, ST-300 trans and AC there was made? The car I have has been poorly patched together by someone 3 paintlayers before I bought it, but now it really needs restoring. I parked it almost 4 years ago, but haven' had the time to do the job. :spank: Now I am going to begin in a new job offshore, and will have long periods off work, so I am hoping to get the work on this car started. At least as soon as I have finished my 79 Regal Sport Coupe. :3gears:
Hi Oyvind. Welcome to V8Buick.com. Their part #s match another sheet metal suppliers part #s. I would say they are the same panels that were avail. for a long time. They're made to fit over the existing 1/4's and made of thinner than orig. metal. Skylark Conv. are not in great demand and don't bring high $$$ so I wouldn't dump a lot of coin into the car. It happens quick. I'd try to patch it with the same gauge metal and use a little body filler. But to each his own. The top plate I think is the same as a hardtop or post 67 A body Buick. Shouldn't be to hard to get. Just alot of work replacing it. I have no clue if it is the same as a chevelle's. My Skylark Rag. has air also. No idea how many were made. If you surf the web I think you can at least how many Vert. Skylarks were made. Pretty sure I seen that production # but I forget where I seen it. All The Best Ray
