Hello all, was wondering if anyone knew of an Upper control arm shaft and bushing set that could be used on my 1967 buick lesabre custom? I was having issues finding one at a resonable price and was wanting to find one from another GM model that would work?..

    Thank you all!

Check out www.classicbuicks.com. They have the complete upper control arm bushing and shaft kit for $164 per side. Fits Riviera, Wildcat, and Electra too from 66-70. If you don't need the shafts, you can buy the upper control arm bushings for as little as $13 each on www.rockauto.com. Later, Randy

I've been trying to find what that clunkity-clunk noise was on my 70 Lesabre whenever i went over big bumps. While looking around under the hood, I noticed 2 of the bushings on the upper control arm were torn and 2 others were missing completely!

How hard is it to change them? I can see how to take it all apart, but do the bushings need a special press or can i do it by hand?

The car is need of an alignment, so I want to do the bushings first.

    Thanks,
    Shane.
