Are they different from the 68 to 72 boosters? I see them on ebay with the stamp and it claims it fits 67 Buicks but when I put the car info in to confirm is says does not fit?

    Its an 11 inch booster.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

My '67 is an original disc brake car and the booster is the same size and shape as the boosters on our '70-'72 Buick A-body cars.

I'll check later to verify but I seem to remember that the only difference in the '67 boosters is that the hole on the front for the check valve is a different size than the later boosters (but it's still in the same location). The original '67 cars used a check valve that pointed to the front of the car and therefor the rubber hose had to make a big loop to turn toward the back of the engine. The later cars had a 90 degree check valve so that the nipple was already pointing toward the back of the engine for a vacuum supply to the booster. If you are not concerned about being concours correct, none of this matters and you can just use a 90 degree fitting.

I've attached a few photos of some '67s with a correct booster and check valve in place. Only one of these is an original disc brake car and you can see that by the small brass block below the mater cylinder. This little valve was added only on the disc brake cars for '67. Note that the car show here with the disc brake valve has been converted back to drum brakes so the master cylinder is incorrect for a disc brake application. The disc brake cars used the master cylinder that looks like what you see on a '70 GSX.

Thanks Gary, I think you are correct on the vacuum port size. I think I remember that from a post years ago.

    Thanks again.
