Just wanted to show off my collection of Gs 400's. I've been collecting from ebay for about a year. I dont know if I have all the colors yet, but havent found any new ones recently. Of course the red one on top is my favorite. The 2 on the bottom are black chrome.
Craig, Looking good man. I have them all too. The only one I see your missing is the "route 66", maroon color car. It's not a AM car it's made as a collevtor series deal. Like I said it's maroon and has the ralley wheels with white wall tires. If you want when I get back to Ks. I could take a pix for ya so you know what to look for. Let me know, I will sure help out. One question if I may ????? I assume the red car has been opened as it's turned the oppposite direction than the others ? Or is this another one I need to find ? Mine is aimed left like all your others. Also, when I ever find some time(maybe this winter) I plan on buying one of these toys, taking it apart, and building a clone to my 67' racecar. Should be interesting.
Hey Buickdave, You are correct about the red one...Its been out of the box....actually its in the wrong box as well. It got mixed up with the blue one. If you look close it has a sticker on the box that reads "Special Color 2500 Pieces". I had them all out of the box except the 2 Black Chrome ones and the silver one. Right now I am not buying any more....all my extra money is going toward restoring my real one in the garage. see attached pic. Where can I see a pic of your 67 racecar? Post one here or provide a link. Sure would like to see that. Thanks
I have one if you are interested? The car is mint in the box neve removed. The spots on the fender and door are the plastic strips that bound the car. I had to lay the box on a flat scanner. make offer
Craig, I don't have any pix of it right now. But you are on a list of a few friends that are demanding pix, haha. As soon as I get some I will let you know where they are and where to find them. I have to get it back rolling first,lol. I have the front susp. stripped off right now. I'll keep you updated, not a lot of us early guys around. We gotta stick together. :TU:
