Ok guys here is what I want to do. I have a 67 GS340 that now has a 300 in it. The 300 has been an excelent motor and I was planning to build another one using a 64 block with the aluminum heads and intake, high compression piston poston cam and the poston headers. But I have since started thinking about swaping in a 430 or 455. I have a couple of questions though. First thing is, is there any headers made for this swap. If not which one's need the smallest amount of tweeking to fit. I know I have to get the frame pads from Ta performance for the swap, But is there anything else that I haven't mentioned that I might need to consider. Also what would be a good street combo which intake, what cam ect. I am looking to find an early on 68 to 71 72 to keep compression up or is this a waste. Also how much do you guys think my 300 is worth. Best I can tell is that it is a 66 or 67 because it has the later style valve covers it runs excellent and holds about 35 psi of oil pressure at idlel and pulls about 25 lbs of vacum to. It has never used a drop of oil and never has smoked. It starts by just breathing on the key. It would also come with the poston headers and an aluminum intake with the orginal carb. I am looking for outside imput so let me know what you guys think about the swap. If I build the 300 were would the power out put be approximatly

    thanks Alot
