67 GS radiator recore costs?

I called the local shop to see the costs to re-core an original 67 GS 400 radiator.

I was quoted $275 for a 4 core and $225 for a 3 core radiator.

It seemed a little high??:ball:

Any comments?

 

Scott the cost of copper is sky high . and that sets the price on recoring

 

I paid $225 for a 3 row recore on my '68 GS400 radiator last year. I could have bought an aftermarket radiator for less but I wanted to use my original tanks.

 

That really doen't seem to bad. My heater core cost me 175.00ou: Like they said copper is really high right now and from what my radiator guy said Nafta didn't help either.o No:
