That 69 has been owned a few of us 69 guys, but that was a couple of years ago when it was available / trading hands at HALF that price or less, lol!:spank:

I remember when Mark put that tach in, very cool installation!

When the wife and I were headed up to Marblehead Ohio several year ago to see my uncle we stopped in that town to fill up. I saw the place and we stopped and went in. At the time he had a hemi challenger convert on the floor. That was back when they were worth a million $$$. He also had a 1967 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed 18,000 original mile car. There were several other but these two I remember very well.

I thought that '69 looked familiar and I remember it being offered not to long ago for a lot less $, nice car but the side stripe is not correct for '69.

    Are those miles correct 14572?

If its the same car I think it is, it needs another one at the front.

I posted last night... Yes, CJP is correct... it has over 100,000 miles. It is a nice, numbers Stage 1. It was sold new down south (I believe in Virginia or south of there), bounced around a few dealerships. That is when the paint was touched up, etc. It then went through 3 owners up here in Mass before heading to the Midwest.. Then back down south.

It was pretty low on options: Stage 1, buckets/ console, PS, AM radio.. It had a great price when it was owned by several board owners.. Now it has doubled plus?!?:Dou:

    Mike,

George is correct, add 100K to the odometer.

Those stripes went on it because I like them, I know they aren't correct, but I never have worried about being correct, and I thought the car needed something to dress it up a bit :TU:

It is a good running car, I had a little fun with it and added all new upholstery, new front suspension, power disc brakes, tilt columm, you name it, plus the tach system that I fab'ed up to fit the console.

This is what it looked like before stripes

I remember when you had it for sale for a very fair price and it was very tempting. I'm kinda partial to the color:laugh:

I agree on the Cameo Cream, especially on a convertible. I have had 2 69s in this color
