any body have any part numbers for these springs every where I chechthe say accept gs I would like the car to sit like a period 60,s street machine probally 1in taller than stock. the spring rate for the front and rear would be perfect thanks adam
Same problem here, I have checked several places as well. I need better front ones (the ones I have are "new" but apparently not for the Big Block) as they sit too low. And I have a new set of rears but they are for something other than a Skylark/GS as they sit too high (nice riding though). I am also looking for that standard "look". With the front sitting normally (factory), and the rear up just a bit. Don't need lowered stuff or anything like that. If you find any let me know too, Please? Mike
There are front spring part numbers for a '67 in this thread: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=139439 When comparing the height of one car to another, we need to be consistant in how we measure... A car that looks 'too high' with small 14" wheels/tires, can look 'just right' when taller 15" wheels/tires are installed. Best bet is to measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. That measurement will not change when wheel/tire sizes are changed. :TU:
