Now that I sold the GS, I would like to "downsize" and get a super nice Skylark 2dr hdtp.....I would like to have buckets and console with automatic, but not necessary, just as long as there is no rust, and the interior and engine compartment are nice. $5-$14,000.00 range. I have a 1970 buick Skylark with a 350 in it. I have the right front fender off the car currently. I took the inner fender out and the core support out to patch do to rust from battery. It has a vinyl top, bench seat but is bamboo cream. I bought the car 1 1/2 years ago in hopes to convert it to a race car but have not done anything with it. It is in good shape over all. I am looking to get $7,000 out of the car. I am out of town for Christmas but will be back in town the day after. It does have a tear in the front seat cover and a spot of rust under the vinyl in the back on the drivers side. It was originally a California car and spent most of its life there. It is rust free other than that one spot as far as I can tell. It is on the lower end of your price range and would be a great car. I can try to round up some pictures if you are intersted. John, I happened to think of this one. It was consigned to an auction in the Twin Cities both in May of 2005 and again in May of 2006. It didn't sell. I looked this car over from top to bottom and talked to the seller. It has original paint except for the hood that was repainted after something fell on it in a garage. Very good match, but not perfect. Has an almost perfect black cloth bench seat interior. No rust. Very clean engine compartment and trunk. Had a new dual exhaust system on it in '05. Approximately 63,000 miles. An extremely nice original car. I don't know if you are still looking or if this one interests you. Both times it was for sale it was bid to around $12,500 to $13,000. I believe the reserve was $14,000. I don't know if it is still available, but you can probably contact the auction company. Here is the link.
