Are the brackets that hold the calipers the same as the 69-72 disc brakes. I have 67 disc brakes for my next car but cant find the brackets?
    Thanks

    Ed,
No they aren't the same. I have a "spare parts set". Let me know what you need.

I did the 4 piston set on my 67 HT. This is an excellent system, far superior to the later single versions. I think they stopped making the 4 piston system because of price and leaking problems. However, you can get the calipers re-sleeved with stainless and a lifetime guarantee.

Mark was fantastic to deal with and he stands behind his work.

Hi Harvey, if you have the brackets that hold the calipers for sale I would like to buy them. I pulled mine from the system I have to have them plated and never sent them off but cant find them now. I plan on having Mark rebuild them and order the lines from inline tube. Is that where you bought your lines? I found inline sells the brackets but I would like to have the original if possible.

I think the system is just cool too!:bglasses:

    Thanks

    Hi Ed
Yes I have the brackets. Do you also need the brake line brackets that bolt on them?
Sorry, but I don't sell any of my parts. I only trade or give them away. So unless youare willing to trade me for your convert 4 speed I will have to give them to you. Send me your mailing address. I'll put them in the post and let you know the postage charges once sent. Yes, inline is choice in brake line suppliers. Everything I've ever bought from them fits perfectly.

Harvey, The brakes will be going on the 4 speed convertible as I will be starting that car next. I have to gather my parts first. I have the bumpers out to rechrome and the pot metal being restored.

Have you started working on yours? I really like your Blue convertible.

I have the brake line brackets in the box with the rest of the parts and now plan to have them plated in gold too.

Thanks for helping me out and if/when I find mine I can send them to you. I will send you a PM.

    Thanks for helping me out!:TU:

I think they are the same for Pontiac, Olds, and Chevelles in 67 & 68.

No problem Ed. I will get them in the mail this week. Do you need the brake line brackets too??

I have the floors out of the 4 speed car and getting new pans ready to go in. The bare shell is on my rotisserie which makes it much easier to do.
