Anyone ever replace the sunvisors on a 66/67 a-body vert? Can't get the new ones in or the old ones back in for that matter. Just keeps smashing the plastic bushing. I'm on the verge of a meltdown. Simple 10 minute job!
Just did mine last week. I pulled the screw out then put some lube wd40 on the end that went into plastic bushing and taped them on the other end will a small hammer and in the went. Both sides took less than ten minutes. :TU: :TU: :TU: :TU: Thanks Scott
That what I thought it would be but looks like I'll be going to the show tomorrow without sunvisors.:af: My old ones wouldn't stay up so I got new bushings too. Even though the old ones kept flopping down they were extremely hard to pull out. I used spray white lithium grease on the new ones but they just wouldn't go in. I tried new visors/new bushings, new visors/old bushings, old visors/old bushings but they'll only go in half way then they start pushing the bushing in with them. Now the bushings are all messed up.ou:
