I can't believe that with all the 67 stuff I've gone through I don't have (read lost) a correct water pump pulley.
    Help, please! :beer
    Thanks

    Hi Harvey
    How can I tell if I have a "67 400" pulley?
I should still have my "pile-o-pullies" somewhere, but if I find them and dig through them.... I won't have a clue what is what.
Is there a significant difference I can look for? :Do No:

    Hi Rick
Judging from the one that I have, the pulley will be 2 3/4" deep and between 5 and 5 1/2" in diameter. It is a two belt pulley. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Part number on the pulley face = 1375146 ( 2 groove 5 5/8 " diameter). It was also found on some big cars with AC that year.

I double checked and the depth will be closer to 2 5/8" rather than 2 3/4". 5 5/8" is good for the diameter. I hope you can find one!
    Thanks again

    Hello Harvey,

I'll dig through my stuff tonight and see if I have one that meets your specs. My 400 only came with the single groove water pump pulley but I might have a dual grove pulley from my 430. I'll let you know either way.

    Cheers,

I thought that I needed a double water pump pulley, but checking in my service manual, the power steering pump is driven directly off the crank pulley. I thought that the PS belt wound around the water pump pulley but not so! :Dou: Therefore a single pulley or double will work for me as long as the pulley is approx. 2 5/8" deep. Sorry about the confusion.

Todd, I saw Rick on the weekend and he still has your door panels. He is on the road again but I think he's planning on being back in 2 or 3 weeks.

    Hi Harvey
I "might" have a pulley for you....
    It's 5 5/8" overall outside diameter - double grooved.
It measures 2 3/4" overall height. (2 5/8" would be about the inside height?)
But the part number is 1235778

This is the exact same pulley I'm using on my 67 ragtop, but I have a 455 in it, and I'm using "later model" PS brackets and an alternator bracket that I have no idea what it came off of. Not sure if this will work for you or not.
I'll let you be the judge. :Do No:

If you want it..... $5 plus shipping and it's yours.
    :beer

PS... I also have a #1235827 which is about the same exact thing, except that it's only 2 3/8" overall deep.
Maybe the number guru's can help us out?

had a set and then my dad dropped the motor and destroyed the crank pulley.

    Todd and Jake,
Thank you very much for your assistance. Rick sent a pulley today. If it's not the correct one, I'll be in touch! :beer

There was a no AC pulley that year for a 67 4600 series car

#1375141 ( 1 groove) but it = 6 3/4" diameter. So if that diameter will not work I assume that yours was the smaller 2 groove pulley I listed above.
