I'm looking for some nice valve covers for the 455 I'm sticking in my GS. I want to badge it as a 400, and I'm keeping the originals on the 400 that I'm taking out. Also I'm looking for a good working 8-track player. Thanks
correct one? Michael, are you looking for the correct "shoebox" size 8 track unit that was a 1967 one year only model or the more common next generation one?
NOS Michael, I have an NOS one in the original box(not tested and no gaurantees as the old belts could or could not be brittle) - these of course are a one year only and ULTRA rare - this unit is not cheap - $750 Have seen 2 of the much more common next generation ones go on ebay NOS in the last couple years in the $600 range so I feel the $750 price is justified - I looked for close 20 years for one and then fell into 2, of course the one is the one pictured in my car.
I don't suppose you need a custom chest or desk or something do you? (I'm a furniture maker) Umm, I'd like to have the player, but I'm going to have to wait until the GS is back from the body shop. I'm dreading the final chrome and stainless polishing bill! I'll contact you next month, hopefully you'll still have it. Thanks
